4-Day Focus on Features - An opportunity for
intense study of the eyes, nose and mouth. Students work
from a combination of photographs and copying the
Masters. |

4-Day Portrait from Live Model - Portrait
demo. Students paint from life. |
|
4-Day Mentoring Workshops - Students work
from their own photo reference. An opportunity for the
continuing student to have me oversee the creation of
their portrait. |

4-Day Personal Photos Workshop -Students work
from their own photos. |

Oil or Pastel (Pastellists
bring your own pastels. I do
have quite a few that I can share, and Art Works has
open stock NuPastels for sale.) |
Requirements
Students must have some
experience working in the
medium of their choice. |
Personal
Photos Workshops
Students will work from
their own photographs, and I
will counsel each student before class to help them
get the best photograph possible. |
Features Workshop
I will provide reference materials. |
Live Model Workshop
Painting the head and shoulders from life. |
In
all classes we will cover:
Photographing the subject
Paints, brushes, brush washers, mediums, etc.
Productive working methods
Drawing, Value, Color, Chroma
Composition
Edges
Brushwork
And much more! |
Materials
I will send a materials list to those who are interested
in taking the class. I will provide paint that you don’t
have for $1.00 per squeeze.
Easels and taborets are provided.
