Having a portrait painted is a very important undertaking for both
artist and client. A portrait will last for many generations, long
after the family photos have faded or turned to dust. Regardless of
its simplicity or complexity,
Ann Lohmann always strives to create an heirloom quality painting
of the highest standards.
A portrait is a collaboration of the artist and client. The first
step is to initiate the co-creative process with a discussion of the
scope of the portrait and determine the price. Ann will do her best
to accommodate both your vision and your budget.
Prices are based on the following factors: number of people in the
painting, how the subject is cropped, the size of the portrait, as
well as the inclusion of intricate clothing, complex background
settings, and the addition of props or animals.
Prices do not include artist’s travel expenses, framing costs,
shipping fees or state/city sales taxes, where applicable. A 40%
non-refundable deposit is required when the decision to proceed is
made.
The final payment is due upon delivery and acceptance by the client.
2005 Prices subject to change.
